TopResume review for workers over 50
Short answer: TopResume is a real resume-writing company. You pay $179 to $599 once and a writer sends you a resume. It works best if you already know what you did and can write it down for them. If you're stuck on that part, the phone call you need costs extra.

These are one-time prices. The page says monthly financing is available.
What costs extra
- A phone call with your writer. It is listed as an add-on on the $179 and $229 packages.
- 48-hour delivery.
- A "Career Services Platform" that says it applies to 20 jobs a day for you and sends your resume to 200 recruiters. It is marked with an asterisk on the pricing page. Before you check out, read what the asterisk covers and whether it renews.
Is TopResume a scam?
No. It is a long-running company and you get a resume. The complaints you see in reviews are about quality changing from writer to writer, and about what the guarantee covers.
The 60-day guarantee
Every package lists a 60-day interview guarantee. Reviews describe it as a free rewrite, not a refund. Read the current terms on their site before you count on it.
Who it fits
- You have a recent resume and want it cleaned up.
- You're comfortable filling in a written questionnaire about your work.
- You want a LinkedIn rewrite in the same order.
Who it doesn't fit
- You haven't written a resume in 10 or 20 years and don't know what to put down.
- You'd rather talk than type.
- You want help finding which jobs to apply to. TopResume writes the resume. It doesn't pick jobs with you.
