Is FlexJobs worth it if you're over 50?

Short answer: FlexJobs is a paid job board. It is not a scam. It is worth it if you want remote, part-time or flexible work and you will use it hard for a few weeks. Watch the trial, because it renews.

We run Keen, a different kind of service. We have not been paid by FlexJobs. Prices below are from their pricing page, checked October 2026.

What FlexJobs costs

PlanYou payThen
14-day trial$2.95Renews at $23.95 every 4 weeks
3 months$29.85 up frontRenews every 3 months
1 year$71.40 up frontRenews every year

If you take the trial and forget it, 13 renewals a year comes to about $311. If you plan to use it for more than a month, the 3-month plan costs less.

They offer a refund if you ask within 14 days of signing up or renewing.

What you get

What you don't get

FlexJobs vs. Indeed

Indeed is free and has far more listings. It also has junk, and you have to judge each one yourself. FlexJobs has fewer listings and has already removed the junk. You are paying for the screening.

Is FlexJobs a scam?

No. The common complaint is the $2.95 trial turning into $23.95 charges. That is stated on the pricing page, and many people miss it. Put the renewal date on your calendar the day you sign up.

Who it fits

If your resume is the real problem

A cleaner job board won't fix a resume that reads like 2009. That's the part we do. You talk through your work on your phone, and your resume writes itself on screen as you go. You see it before you pay.
